Stella enjoyed fishing, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Switzerland Baptist Church in Vevay, Indiana.

She was one of 14 children born to the parents of, Wesley Warren and Alice (Bryanton) Romans.
